  • Location data (GPS coordinates recorded when you actively track a route)
  • Route information (paths, distances, elevations, and names you provide)
  • Account information (email address, display name)
  • Device information (model, operating system version)
  • App usage data

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Record and display your tracked routes
  • Share routes with groups you join
  • Improve our app functionality
  • Ensure service reliability and security

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active:

  • Account data (email, display name) — stored indefinitely until you delete your account.
  • Route and track data (GPS points, route names, timestamps) — stored indefinitely until you delete individual tracks or delete your account.
  • Device information — stored indefinitely while your account is active and updated each time you use the app.

Once data is deleted (either by deleting individual tracks or by deleting your account), it is permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data in the following ways:

  • Delete individual tracks: Remove specific tracks from within the app at any time.
  • Delete your account: Permanently delete your account and all associated data (tracks, location history, group memberships, and groups you created) by visiting pingpath.cloud/delete_account.php. A confirmation email will be sent before deletion is finalized.

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All data is removed from our servers immediately upon confirmation.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on our servers. Route data is only accessible to you and the groups you choose to share with. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your data is only shared in the following ways:

  • Routes are shared with groups you explicitly join and choose to share with.
  • We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data within the app at any time
  • Delete individual recorded routes at any time
  • Delete your entire account and all associated data
  • Leave groups and stop sharing routes
  • Request a copy of your data by contacting us
